About

The people behind TaxItEasy

TaxItEasy is built by founder Tom Klein and a small team in Cyprus, together with a practicing tax advisor. This page says who those people are and what we do, without a stock photo standing in for us.

What we build and why

TaxItEasy is a bookkeeping app for freelancers and small businesses in the EU. You snap a receipt or forward an invoice email; the app reads the document, suggests a category, matches it to the bank payment and keeps the record ready for your accountant. You can also write and send your own invoices from the same account.

We built it because the typing was the problem, not the tax. Every receipt has to be read, named, categorised and reconciled before an accountant can do anything with it, and that work used to fall on evenings and weekends.

The boundary is deliberate: TaxItEasy prepares records and hands them over. It does not file a tax return and does not replace your tax advisor. Your advisor gets a free portal with a review queue, one-click receipt requests and clean exports, and stays the person who signs off.

Who is behind it

TaxItEasy is a product of THE GROVVEST AI LTD, a company registered in Cyprus (HE 478768) and based in Paphos. Tom Klein is the founder and director. He also writes the guides on EU bookkeeping and tax rules.

The full legal details, registration number and contact address are on the imprint page.

How we work with tax advisors

The product is built with a practicing tax advisor. Review flows, feedback templates and the export formats come out of that work, and the advisor portal is used the way an accountant actually works through a client's month: one queue, open items first, everything logged.

If you are an accountant and want to see the portal on your own clients, the tax advisor page explains the workflow and how to book a demo.

Where your data lives

Your documents are stored and encrypted at rest in Frankfurt, Germany, and do not leave the European Union for storage. TaxItEasy is GDPR-compliant, offers a data processing agreement, and holds Google CASA Tier 2 verification.

What we see, what we do not see, and the one exception during AI extraction are spelled out on the security page.

Try it on your own receipts.
